The Future of E-Cigs in 2015

So 2014 was a big year for the Electronic Cigarette community, full of ups and downs. The biggest event of last year for most vapers was the TPD (Tobacco Products Directive) and what it might mean for Ecigs in the next few years. Most can agree that it was badly worded and should have had proper consultation from the industry on how it will try and regulate the vaping world. We're still trying to work out how this is going to affect us and whether we can change things so that they're better for us i the long run. This might mean that 2015 is a very important year indeed as we all band together in order to save the E-cigarette in its current form.

Hardware and E-Liquid looks like it could really improve this year. We may see hardware that's easier to use and that makes it easier for first-time vapers to get into playing with things like variable wattage and voltage. You may have the brand new tank system that we're selling, the revolutionary BCT, but perhaps tank technology will go even further this year, and we'll see something even better crop up (though it would have to try hard for that). The hobbyist community will probably be coming up with even more weird and wonderful set-ups for us to enjoy as well, definitely something to look forward to. It's also looking as if we will see less cig-a-likes in the market as more smokers and vapers turn to larger and more powerful devices like the Infernos and Lavatubes of the market. Though Big Tobacco will be attempting to take this market and push it to full force.

It's also likely we will also see a rise in the quality and quantity of E-Liquids available on the market, what with a lot more companies setting up operation. We at Volcano are looking to expand our range of flavours, looking to bring in some of the best from the US, and we'll be looking for your input on what to get.

The debate will, of course, carry on in regards to the TPD and further regulation of the Ecig industry but I remain hopeful that we can begin making headway into the issue. Here's to a brighter 2015, with more and better vaping ahead.
